Jacki Tipton - Founder of Inspo to Go
Ever the intrepid dreamer, i grew up envisioning far off places and exotic location that i had only ever seen in books or movies. Luckily, I grew up in a family that liked to take little trips around our local area to check out new places, so even from a young age i knew how rewarding travel could be. Learning new things, meeting new people and seeing the sights became fascinating to me. So after i finished university i worked 2 jobs (from before sun-up to sun-up some days) and saved every penny i could and finally, in 2010, i had saved enough to take my first round world trip. Suffice it to say, from that day on i was hooked!
I love traveling with groups and with friends but i'm happy to do a solo trip as well (which, traveling as a young solo female, isn't always easy and can be daunting). I'm always up for adventure and I have a bucket list longer than most books (my list actually is a bucket book).
Although a relaxing holiday can be fantastic, i'm more the 'fit in as much as humanly possible' kind of person. In order to get my moneys worth, I like to explore as much as i can in every place I go to, so i'm big on planning. Itineraries are my jam. I know that sounds boring, but i never come home saying "aw, i wish I had time to do that one last thing" because I make sure I see everything i'm excited about in the time i'm there (usually plus a few extra things that i definitely didn't have time to do but some how managed to fit in). Life's too short to miss a single thing!
I scrimp and I save every penny I have so that I can travel and live a life that i'm excited about. Sometimes that means less time to relax and a lot of cheap red eye flights but its all worth it for the memories and stories that I come home with.
I hope to one day earn enough to travel around the full time and check off all those items in my bucket book! I can't wait to see where i'll go next and I hope that some of my stories inspire you to go, take flight and follow your dreams just like me!
